Simple Christmas cards

With Christmas coming upon us rather fast now, i decided to make some quick and easy cards using basic stamping and punching. I haven't used any fancy embellishments, that way the costs are kept to a minimum, especially if you are making quite a few.

I have used one of the images from the new 'Easy Events' stamp set.
The first card was stamped and coloured with my Stampin' Markers and mounted onto die cut circles.
The colours are Old Olive and Real Red.
The white card base was embossed using the perfect polka dots embossing folder. Then i used the new Lace Ribbon Border to punch out a strip for the centre of the card and placed old olive circles at the back for some contrast.

The next card is also made using the same colourway. Again i have embossed the background card as before.

The stamped image was mounted onto die cut squares and a little dazzling diamonds glitter adds some sparkle.
I have used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch this time to give a ribbon effect and placed some Real Red card behind it. I cut a single small flower shape from the Lace Ribbon Border used on the previous card and placed a circle of Real Red behind. A basic rhinestone was placed in the centre.

I don't do mass production very well, generally i like to make many different designs for my Christmas cards, but these were so quick and easy i will be making some more.

Thanks for visiting.xx
