Crazy for Cupcakes

Hello there

I felt in the mood for using some of my stamps sets that hadn't seen much action for a while so i chose 'Crazy for Cupcakes'.

Also, as my Mojo was M.I.A i decided to use the latest mojomonday challenge to inspire me...i know its now Wednesday Lol!

So here is what i came up with......apologies for the picture quality...Rugby was yet again very dreary when i took the photo!

The cardstock colours are Concord Crush, Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo and White.

The spotty DSP comes from the hostess set 'Cheerful Treat'.
I have used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the image and have added some Dazzling Diamonds and Crystal Effects, although this is not clear from the photo.

I have used one of my embossing folders from my stash although i'm not sure what it is called, for the circle effect.

The sentiment comes from the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and is mounted onto a tag cut using my SU Lots of Tags die set which i have embossed with... yes, you guessed it!.. my  Square Lattice embossing folder.

Well, thankyou for visiting today. I hope to be back soon with some more summer inspired and maybe not recently used stash!

Take care

Sweet Shop

Hi there!

Yes, i know, please don't faint with surprise at a crafting post from me at last! Hopefully normal service can be resumed very soon as my darling little one is back to nursery next week.

But for now, a card.....

I have used the new 'sweet shop' DSP which can be found in the Summer Mini catalogue and have used my Cupcake Builder Punch and Pennant Builder Punch to make the ice cream cornet.

There is a lot of punching going off on this card. Punches also used are the 1-3/4 and 2-3/8 Scallop Circle, Modern Label and Word Window punches.

Cardstock colours used are Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Pool Party textured, Pretty in Pink and Soft Suede textured.

I have used the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and the Square Lattice folder for the ice cream.

Finally, i have used a new 'Jelly Bean' brad which co-ordinates with the DSP.

So a Summery card to entice some Summery Weather i hope!!!!!

Thanks for visiting today and have a lovely weekend.
Hugs

Whooops!

I wanted to pop on today to apologise for my lack of posts recently.

What with going on holiday during the half term week in our caravan and dealing with the fall out afterwards, it has left me with very little time.

Another very sad reason is that i have had my youngest boy, Nathaniel, at home with me since then, as some very selfish boys decided it would be fun to set fire to his Nursery and Infants School on the Jubilee weekend.
Natty was crying when he found out, and the School Headmaster said ' this is the place where the children feel safe'. So for them to do this to young children is heartbreaking.

The School Headmaster and his staff have done so well to deal with the problem and should be congratulated. The Junior school which 3 of my children attend, have accommodated the Infant School children and my eldest boy has had the privilege of going to The Rugby School for his lessons.

Hopefully Natty will be going back to Nursery next week so i will be able to get some crafting done.

I do have a card to show you soon which my ladies made in my cardmaking class last Friday. I will post it when i can get back.

Hugs,
