Birthday card for my Daughter

Good Morning!

I wanted to share with you the card i made for my daughter who celebrated her birthday last week.

I just love this little fairy image from LOTV.

My Daughters favourite colour is green so i did a compromise and paired aqua green with pink.

The patterned paper was a freebie from a magazine i bought last year but as it had both colours in it then it was perfect.

I have embellished the card with some Mulberry paper roses, some coloured pearls and the Stampin' Up! Pool Party Ruffled ribbon matches perfectly.

I added some glittery sparkle to her wings.

Well, that's all from me for today. I have a never ending list of things to achieve before the children break up from school next week.
Thanks for visiting.

Hugs

I think this might be a wishful thinking card!

I am on a mission to brighten up these dreary days by thinking about what a summers' day should be like with this card.....

Anyway it is a very simple card to make.

I have used Sweet Shop DSP on a white card base. The border is made using Soft Suede cardstock and the Scallop Trim border punch.

The ice creams are made simply using the Pennant Builder punch for the cornets and textured Crumb Cake card. The ice cream is the frosting shape from the Cupcake Builder punch which i have embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing folder and used Pool Party, Soft Suede, So Saffron and Pretty in Pink (sprinkles) and Poppy Parade (cherry) cardstock.

The label comes from the Lots of Tags die set and is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.
The sentiment comes from the 'Crazy for Cupcakes' stamp set and has a couple of silver mini brads on.

Finally the card is finished off with some Calypso Coral Ruffled ribbon.

And another card....

Do you get the drift now? Hint Hint to Mother Nature!!

This one follows last weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

The cardstock colours are White, Pretty in Pink, Soft Suede and Pool Party.
I have used Pretty in Pink Spotty DSP and the cake case is made from the Pool Party sheet of wavy DSP from the Sweet Shop DSP collection. Again i have used the Cupcake Builder punch.
I have also used the Square Lattice and Perfect Polka Dot embossing folders.

As for these cards having any effect on the weather, i think i may be waiting some time.
However they were quite cheerful to make!

Thanks for visiting.
Hugs.
